Cafe
Volunteering to serve in the cafe is a great people-focused way to support the life of the church. From serving tea and coffee after church to serving the community during the week in the kitchen, you will play a key part in peoples after church socialising. You will be fully training and guided in your role so no need to worry if you haven’t got any experience. This role is ideal for those who enjoy meeting new people, communicating clearly, and serving others through food and drinks.
Limitless Kids
Serving on the Limitless Kids team is a meaningful opportunity to invest in the next generation by helping create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can grow in their faith. Through engaging Bible stories, interactive activities, and simple, age-appropriate teaching, volunteers play a key role in helping kids learn about Jesus in a way they can understand and enjoy. It’s also a space where children can build friendships and feel a genuine sense of belonging within the wider church family.
Limitless Youth
Serving on the Limitless Youth Team is about investing in young people and helping create a place where they can grow in faith, friendship, and confidence. Our Youth Ministry helps young people explore who God is and who He’s calling them to be through engaging gatherings, relevant teaching, and a supportive community.
Host Team
Serving on the Host team is all about creating a positive first impression and helping people feel at home from the moment they arrive on a Sunday. As one of the first friendly faces at the door, you’ll greet people with a warm smile, offer a simple hello, and help answer questions or guide them to where they need to go. Your role helps create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere where everyone feels seen, comfortable, and part of the church community. It’s especially meaningful if you enjoy connecting with people and noticing those who might need a little extra support.
Car Park/ Safe Space
Serving on the car parking team is a great way to be the very first point of welcome on a Sunday, helping create a smooth and stress-free arrival for everyone. By guiding cars to available spaces and offering a warm, friendly smile as people step out, you set the tone for a positive experience before they even reach the church doors. Your role helps things run safely and efficiently, while also making people feel relaxed, noticed, and cared for from the moment they arrive. It’s an ideal way to serve if you enjoy being outdoors, staying organised, and helping others feel at ease.
Worship
Serving on the worship team is a meaningful way to help lead the church in Jesus-centred praise and create space for people to encounter God. Through music, prayer, and moments of reflection, you play a key role in shaping an atmosphere where people can connect with God and respond to Him. Whether you’re a vocalist, musician, or simply have a heart for worship, this is a great opportunity to use your gifts, grow in confidence, and serve as part of a committed and passionate team.
Presentation
Serving on the presentation team is a great way to support everything that happens on a Sunday by helping create a smooth and distraction-free environment. From managing visuals, lyrics, lighting, and presentations, you play a key role in helping people fully engage in worship and teaching. It’s a hands-on and creative role that’s vital to the flow of the service, and a great opportunity whether you’re already tech-savvy or keen to learn new skills as part of a supportive team.
Livestream
Serving on the livestream team is a vital way to help extend the church experience beyond the walls, allowing people at home or away to join in worship and teaching. By managing cameras, streaming software, and online engagement, you help create a high-quality, accessible experience that connects the wider community to what’s happening in the service. Your work ensures that everyone, no matter where they are, can participate fully and feel part of the church family.
Sound
Serving on the sound team is an important way to help create a clear, distraction-free environment where everyone can fully engage in worship and teaching. By balancing microphones, managing music, and overseeing audio levels, you ensure that every word, song, and moment is heard clearly. Your work behind the scenes plays a vital role in shaping the atmosphere in the room, allowing the congregation to focus on worship and the message without interruption.
Gardening Team
Volunteering in the church garden is a wonderful way to serve while enjoying the outdoors and making a tangible impact on the church environment. Whether it’s planting flowers, trimming hedges or maintaining lawns, your work helps create a welcoming and beautiful space for everyone who visits. A well-tended garden not only enhances the look of the church but also provides a peaceful place for reflection, prayer, and community gatherings.
Event Support
Volunteering to help set up the hall for church is a practical and valuable way to serve behind the scenes. From arranging chairs and tables to setting up audio-visual equipment, decorations, or resources for activities, your efforts ensure that the space is ready for worship, fellowship, and events. A well-prepared hall helps create a welcoming and organised environment where everyone can feel comfortable and focus on the service or gathering.
Info Point
Volunteering to serve at the info point in the church foyer is a welcoming and people-focused way to support the life of the church. Positioned at the heart of the entrance area, you’ll be one of the first faces people see as they arrive. From greeting newcomers with a warm smile to answering questions and offering guidance, your presence helps create an inviting and friendly atmosphere where everyone feels noticed and valued. Whether someone is visiting for the first time or looking for more information about church activities, the info point plays a key role in helping people feel at ease and connected.
